Biography: The son of famed wrestler Beau Beverly, Von Wagner was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. He had every advantage a young man could want. He was wealthy, handsome, charismatic and a pure bred athlete. In high school he was the star athlete. A true three-sport star, playing basketball, wrestling and football, earning three letters in each. He was courted by numerous colleges across the country and looked forward to a professional career in sports until tragedy struck.
Late one night he was out partying with one of his high school friends, another rich kid with a bad attitude named Robert Stone. The duo crashed into each other with Wagner being rocketed from his car and launched into a nearby ravine. He laid underneath the water for hours, pronounced dead.
Somehow Stone was able to pull him out and terrified that he would be found out, looked to dispose of the body when his friend erupted back to life. Stone took Wagner to an unethical doctor who reconstructed Wagner with a patchwork of spare parts and bad medicine. Wagner’s body was mangled, his good looks destroyed, his brain rotten from the inside out. He quickly became an outcast from his former life as his family forced him to hide for years in their basement cellar.
Shunned by his family and society as a whole, Wagner was freed from his underground prison by the man who helped put him there. Robert Stone's life had taken a turn for the worse after the accident as he was ostracized by the elites who claim he "killed" the Beverly family's son. Wagner was forced into the carnival wrestling circuit by his former friend, now turned handler, as way for them both to pursue a new life. Von Wagner has become a mindless beast controlled by Stone.
