In May, 2021, AJ Lee was fired from the EWA.
Citing a bad attitude backstage Lee, alongside several other members of the women’s division, were released from their contracts. What has followed in the subsequent years has been a journey of self-reflection and atonement. Now, looking at 2024 with fresh eyes, the Geeky Goddess is ready to make amends and rebuild bridges. She wants to step back into the EWA and prove that not only is she a better person than she was three years prior, but she’s also a better wrestler.
Just being another body in the division isn’t good enough for this new AJ Lee. She wants to be the best and, importantly, she wants to earn it.
