Biography:
People have called ‘Cowboy’ James Storm a lot of things in his 46 years on God’s Earth, the tone depending on just how late into the evening the bar was. But there’s one thing anyone who knows the man agrees upon: he knows how to have a good time. Named for his father, a businessman from New Zealand who unfortunately, ‘forgot something’ when he returned home to his wife and real family, James Storm has been a fighter all his life.
Fiercely proud of his cowboy roots, even when he was young he wouldn’t listen to anybody slandering his single mother for working in the truckstop diner in Fredericksburg, James Storm quickly developed a reputation somewhat akin to that of the Wu-Tang Clan: James Storm ain’t no-one to fuck with. He quickly found heat with local police, finding his way in and out of probation with a temper that was quick to flare.
That all changed when he found himself in a bar room brawl one night; at 19, he’d cleared out several patrons on his own. And when he’d jacked the jaw of the Japanese man in his suit, he’d thought for sure he was going down hard. But then the man, after an application of medicinal whiskey, said he’s watched James fight, and had been impressed. And promptly offered him a place on the Japanese touring circuit.
But that was the 90s; this is 2023, James Storm is retired and enjoying life on the range with his dogs, Duke and Coop, and sees no reason to go back into wrestling. That is…until a phone call comes in from his closest family. It seems someone has a favor to ask; and if James Storm has one weakness (besides fast women, beer, and a good fight) it’s his favorite niece.
