Biography: If LA Knight is Hulk Hogan’s hand-picked megastar, then Shinsuke Nakamura and Damian Priest are his killers.
The two talented international talents were originally slated to return to the EWA last summer as part of a former king of the rings efforts to take over the company. However, when he decided to return home to Ireland the pair were left without contracts in the states. This caused the legendary wrestler Nakamura to take Priest under his wing and form a brutal tag-team known as Strong Style Punishment. Shinsuke had always been a dangerous competitor but with this newfound bitterness and frustration he became close to unstoppable.
Priest is a powerful, suave competitor. A student of the game and many fighting disciplines, he’s often been mistaken as just another run of the mill big guy with easily exploitable weaknesses. Those we once believed that have long since had their heads kicked into the tenth row. Priest is articulate and well spoken, often speaking of the horrific lengths he will go to to decimate his opponents with an eerie calmness to him.
Enter Hulk Hogan.
While in Japan finalizing LA Knight’s deal to return to the states he couldn’t help but notice this makeshift tandem and see the money that can be made with them. This is a separate venture from Knight, who’s a bit of a lone wolf that’s chosen to do his own thing, but with Hollywood’s influence there’s no telling what could happen if these three men were to come together.
