Biography: Asuka formerly appeared in the EWA in 2020, sent on a quest to bring the Pirate Princess Kairi Sane (who was lost somewhere in the United States) back home to Japan. Unfortunately this time period overlapped with the worldwide pandemic of 2020, and as a result Asuka and Kairi Sane were both trapped in the United States. They decided to spend their time fighting and causing trouble in the EWA, a promotion that continued to do trade even during the pandemic. During this time Asuka was able to capture the EWA Women's Champion, besting Aliyah at the end of August 2020. She was eventually beaten for the championship by Sasha Banks. Once the borders to Japan were opened up again, both Asuka and Kairi fled back to Japan, but since that time Asuka knew in the back of her mind that she had some unfinished business with the EWA. The company hasn't suffered enough.

Biography: Kairi Sane prides herself on how irritating she can be. Always a rebellious spirit, she fled to the United States a few years ago and almost immediately got herself in trouble, being essentially kidnapped and held hostage until she was unexpectedly rescued by Asuka. The two of them found themselves stuck in the United States after this, and while Kairi was grateful to Asuka for rescuing her, Asuka did have a habit of holding that over Kairi's head. Eventually the two women got at each others throats so much that once the borders to Japan opened up again, they both headed home and disappeared from the EWA. Asuka recently returned to the EWA to exact some revenge, and she called Kairi for backup. Kairi Sane may seem incredibly annoying (and she is) but she also has a very vicious and vengeful streak, and now that she's not locked down in a house with Asuka 24/7, maybe now she's actually tolerable to be around.

Biography: Not much is known about Io Shirai, she keeps herself to herself and is very stoic, very quiet. She doesn't say much, but then she doesn't have to. Her fighting ability speaks for itself. This is how she came to know Asuka, Asuka knows all of the greatest fighters in Japan and so Io Shirai soon came onto her radar. When Asuka returned to the EWA and found herself at a numbers disadvantage against the Red Wedding (Su Yung and Rosemary) she called in some backup. Some of that backup was familiar to the EWA (Kairi Sane) and some unfamiliar. That uncertainty, the mystery could be the factor that plays into this new groups hands. Nobody knows Io Shirai, and she will use this to her advantage.
