San Diego, CA -- In a stunning turn of events, the E-Wrestling Alliance announces the sudden release of Alan Angels. Mr. Angels, last seen on EWA programming as teammate to Chad Gable and Otis in a losing effort against Vegas Connection Enterprises (aka Val Venis, Diamond Dallas Page and Kevin Nash) in Six Man/Trios tag team action.
According to the self-proclaimed "Arch" Angel, Angels had used the time off to visit with family in Georgia. During his stay there, Angels states that his former professional wrestling employer asked him to fill in a tag team match due to a last minute cancellation. The cancellation happened to be part of a team challenging for that company's Tag Team Championships. Apparently, Alan filled in nicely, having won the titles!
Alan thanked the EWA for the opportunity to help with the ratings and wished the E-Wrestling Alliance all the best in their future endeavors without him. Everyone at EWA Headquarters reciprocate the gesture.
