The current longest reigning EWA Women's Champion Sable In addition to Molly Holly-Helms being in attendance for Motor City Mayhem to oversee the winning team in the first-ever Molly Holly-Helms Tag Team Tournament Cup, another legendary figure in the world of EWA women's wrestling will be in attendance. Sable, the longest reigning EWA Women's Champion is expected to be live in Detroit for the event. Sable was EWA Women's Champion from March 22, 2013, to March 2, 2014, for a total of 345 days. Sable's near year-long reign broke the previous Women's Championship record by 65 days. Motor City Mayhem will take place on May 28th of this year and will mark the 344th day of Charlotte Flair's EWA Women's Championship reign. Her opponent that night is the 2023 Women's Civil War winner and a three-time EWA Women's Champion herself, Sasha Banks. If Flair is able to defeat Sasha Banks it seems almost inconceivable that she wouldn't be able to break Sable's record. That makes this match which is currently scheduled to be the main event of Motor City Mayhem in Detroit all the more important. And while Sable is not currently scheduled to take part in the event in any official capacity, her appearance, the first in many years, signals just how important this contest is from a historical perspective. Be sure to order the pay-per-view from the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan next Sunday to see this consequential battle between two of the most decorated ladies in the entire history of the E-Wrestling Alliance do battle under the bright lights of the main event.
