Biography: You know his father...but Colby Corino would much rather you didn't.
There's enough nepo-babies running around the EWA these days, but The Last Bastion of Professional Wrestling has spent his entire adult life trying to make it on his own two feet...to be recognized for his own talents, not because his old man was one of the all-time EWA greats. That's meant there's been some ups and downs along the way, but throughout it all, Colby has fought to do it on his own...only for his principles to get him nowhere. While there'd been contact with the EWA over the years, every idea floated his way had involved playing up the legacy of The King of Old School, something Colby has zero interest in doing. But just when he was close to giving up on his dreams, an unexpected source reached out offering a helping hand...

Biography: How do you spell greatness? J-E-DOUBLE F J-A-DOUBLE R-E-DOUBLE T!
In a career spanning nearly 40 years, Double J has been there, done that, and damn near won it all! But in spite of all that success, for some reason, the EWA hasn't spend the last 10 years kicking his door down. Don't they know who the hell they're missing out on? Luckily for The Last Outlaw, a chance encounter with Colby Corino on an indie show gave him the perfect idea...hook himself to Colby's bandwagon and ride it all the way back to the top! Not that he put it that way to the second generation superstar, of course...no, Jarrett sold Colby on the idea that he needed guidance to get out from under his father's shadow, and who better to do so than the man who eclipsed the accomplishments of the legendary Jerry Jarrett? So here we are...Jeff Jarrett and Colby Corino, ostensibly as a tag team and as a weird mentor/student deal...but mostly with Double J using The Last Bastion to relive his glory days once again.
Now choke on that, SLAPNUTS!
(OOC - I'm out of here for the weekend but after a conversation with Corey gave me the perfect tweak to what I was originally planning with Jarrett, I kinda couldn't wait to get my app up. Also, I guess my break's over.)
