Former EWA Television Champion Darby Allin is in the EWA's concussion protocol, a spokesman for the E-Wrestling Alliance said in a statement posted to EWA.com. The announcement comes days after Allin's head slammed against the exposed concreate of the Edmonton Expo Center courtesy of EWA World Champion Sefa Fatu during Allin's title defense against Team Taz's HOOK. Fatu was not a part of the match and has been engaged in a war of words with Allin in recent weeks. It is the second time in Allin's EWA career that he has landed in the EWA's concussion protocol after an EWA TV Title defense. It is unclear if Allin will be available to appear in the EWA for the foreseeable future stated the spokesman. When reached for comment regarding this story, EWA General Manager Christian Cage released the following statement: "I care very deeply about each and every member of the EWA roster," Cage said. "I take that seriously, so I just want him to get healthy and have peace of mind in that regard. That's first and foremost, and then whatever the circumstances are after, you deal with after. It's about the human being and making sure he's squared away." Darby Allin was discharged earlier this morning and will stay in Edmonton until he is cleared to fly home to Seattle, Washington. The EWA would like to thank the medical professionals at the Walter C Mackenzie Health Sciences Centre for their world class treatment of Darby.
