The Austrian powerhouse vowed to never enter America and wrestle for he knew that almost every professional wrestler there is doesn't treat the sport as sacred. "Filthy American wrestling scum" -- he would say in his native language he once said to a European reporter (for the few times he does speak), with that mindset he would become ill just thinking about wrestling in the states.
He traveled all across the European circuit with his spokesman (for GUNTHER is a man to does his wrestling do the talking and hardly speaks), Ludwig Kaiser he was destroying opponents left and right. One day, he was sitting in his villa at his home town of Vienna, Austria with Ludwig and he was at a point in his European wrestling career where has done all that he really wanted and decided to retire early.
Ludwig though, had other ideas in mind. Prior to this little meeting, Ludwig did receive a phone call from a American wrestling promotion named "E-Wrestling Alliance". The company would love to have both GUNTHER and Ludwig Kaiser to join the ranks and finally perform in America. The idea angered The Ring General for he vowed to never, ever wrestle in America. Before GUNTHER would smack Ludwig across the face for even suggesting the thought of wrestling, he suddenly realized what he could do.
After pondering the thought, GUNTHER gave the nod for Ludwig to accept the offer of EWA and both will be flying over to America in due time.
