Biography: Bayley had been traveling the world and mastering her craft for over 10 years. She began training at the age of 17 at her local independent promotion in the Bay area; Big Time Wrestling. Once she took her act on the road, Bayley quickly rose through the ranks as one of the most must see women wrestlers in the United States. Bayley was a sponge of knowledge in these formative years and knew that being a student of the game, she needed to branch out. She spent 2 years in Japan where she trained with NJPW veteran women and learned strong style wrestling. Learning the American style was one thing but adding the hard-hitting Japanese style to her arsenal only made her that much more of a commodity in the States.
Rather than heading back home, Bayley had one more stop to learn from the greats that had came before her as she moved to Mexico for 3 years. With her Hispanic heritage, Bayley wanted to master the art of Lucha Libre. She mastered the cute, huggable técnico persona before a slow burn into a 100% rudo character. Bayley donned a mask for a bit, using the name Davina Rose as she trained with the Guerrero family and Ultimo Dragon at the Ultimo Dragon Gym. Chavo Guerrero suggested she lean into her love of Lucha Libre wrestling and pay homage to one of her heroes, Eddie Guerrero by donning the moniker of "Latina Heat", a fiery Latina Heel that would do anything to come out on top.
As talks between EWA and Davina began ramping up, Davina knew she had one last duty to fulfill before she could return to the United States. She began a short program with Sexy Star where the two would lead up to a Luchas de Apuestas match at AAA's Triplemania event in which she would do the honors and remove her mask forever by way of tradition and honor. She would return to the United States immediately to begin her time working with the EWA as she began her prime years as a valuable talent, asset, and worker in the business.
