STATEMENT FROM EWA COMMISSIONER CHRISTIAN CAGE This past Sunday on SLAM!, EWA World Heavyweight Champion Al Snow made it crystal clear he had no intention of defending the most prestigious prize in all of sports entertainment at this weekend's Snow Day Pay-Per-View broadcast. Unfortunately for Al, however, he doesn't make those kinds of decisions. I do. As such, and with the need of a big marquee championship to round out this exciting event, I have decided to honor the rematch clause negotiated into Mil Muertes' contract by his manager Dario Cueto. In other words, that means it will be The Man of 1,000 Deaths versus The Snowman this Sunday at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio for the World Championship! Only this time, there won't be any special guest referees or outside interference like we saw back at Mayan Mayhem. Instead, this will be a one-on-one contest where the best man will walk out as champion. Furthermore, if Al Snow decides to ignore this order and follow through on his threat to "go and drink champagne on the deck of a f**king yacht" instead of appearing at an event named in his honor, I will have no choice but to strip him of the championship. The choice is entirely up to Al Snow. Sincerely, Commissioner Christian Cage
