STATEMENT FROM EWA COMMISSIONER CHRISTIAN CAGE
After much deliberation, I have decided to add two matches to this Sunday's Red, White & Bruised pay-per-view broadcast. As with all EWA premium live events, there is a necessity to make sure that fans are entertained but also that the talent in the E-Wrestling Alliance have ample opportunity to shine. I have worked with GM Harry Smith to make sure that both new wrestlers and established veterans get a chance to prove themselves.
Therefore in addition to the many marquee bouts on the card, I am adding additional affairs. First a special attraction match I'm dubbing the "WAR OF THE MONSTERS", as the 6'5" "Gravedigger" Vincent will make his in-ring debut against the Samoan beast "The Big Dog" Roman Reigns. Both of these men have shown in recent weeks a desire to maim and maul anyone who gets in their way and what better than to turn two wildmen loose on one another?
Lastly, the EWA World Tag Team Champions, The Usos, have proven to be a formidable tag team and gained the EWA World Tag Championships earlier this month. However, despite their claims that there is no one who can challenge them, I believe that there are two young, up and coming teams that want the same chance at the gold that Jimmy and Jey were able to get. So at Red, White & Bruised we will see THREE teams battle it out for the Tag Team Championships as the Acclaimed and the Surfin' Gunns will challenge the Usos.
I believe with these two additional matches, this Sunday's pay-per-view extravaganza will represent one of the greatest cross-sections of talents, with newcomers, stalwarts, veterans and legends mixing together and battling for the riches prizes in this industry and that this year's event will stand the test of time as an incredible incarnation of this annual tradition.
Sincerely,
Commissioner Christian Cage
