History: (2017) John Cena joined the EWA and soon started being stalked by Daffney leading to a Dungeon of Doom match between the two at River City Rampage. If Cena lost, he would be forced to do her bidding, but if he won, Daffney had to go away forever. Although he tried his hardest he lost due to the interference of the SCP. Cena, had no choice to play along with Daffney and began to feud with Santino over the National Title. Meanwhile also battling with the SCP's Bobby Lashley, culminating in an Ambulance Match at Summer Stampede that Cena won, parlaying that into the World Title scene where he twice challenged Cody Rhodes for the gold. Alas, Cena was unsuccessful in both of his efforts to attain the prize. Though he tried and failed at also winning the King of the Ring before disappearing, it was only a matter of time before Cena would make his return to action.
(2018) Starting off hot, Cena racked up a bunch of wins before fighting Vampiro to save Daffney from her abductor. Cena got payback by taking him out at Civil War during the match named after the event. Cena eventually worked his way back into title contention, in another triple threat match with Al Snow and the then-champ Brock Lesnar, but couldn't get the win. Cena struck up a loose alliance with Big Show. Winning the Hulk Hogan Rock N' Wrestling Tag Team Tournament was their goal for the summer but at Minutes To Midnight Cena was forced to find a replacement partner in Midnight Rider. Unfortunately it was not to be and they lost the finals of the tournament to the Kings of Wrestling. They continued teaming for a while longer, feuding with Braun Strowman and Santino. Cena however was eventually taken out on the eve of a Parking Lot Brawl match at Sin City Survival meaning The Rider went it alone and unfortunately was defeated. Upon Cena's return he was back to being a singles star. Cena formed his own SuperBrawl team but unfortunately it was the first team eliminated.
(2019) John Cena got into a war with Samoa Joe, he tried to show Joe respect after beating Cena in a match on SLAM!, however he was jumped by the whole Kings of Wrestling. Cena sought like minded individuals to work with in Jake Roberts and Big Show, who also had problems with the KoW, but they ultimately failed to get any payback at Collision Course when Cena turned against his Cenation for the first time. He walked out on the Big Show during the match and left him to the mercy of their opponents. The rest of the year saw Cena stumbling to try and find his footing but it was to no avail. A failed venture with the nWo forming and quickly being disbanded was one of those attempts.
(2020) Cena came back to the EWA to be a mentor to the mysterious Suicide, who was feuding with Pete Dunne. Suicide wanted to be a decent upstanding member of the roster who fought injustice and Pete Dunne, The Career Killer, was the target he set his sights on. To get at Suicide, Dunne attacked Cena in the parking lot on the July 12th SLAM!, trapped his leg in a car door and repeatedly smashed it with his sledgehammer to shatter every bone. Cena did the best he could to offer moral support for his student but the road to recovery was going to be long and hard. This was the last the EWA had seen of Cena, however we all know that he just doesn't have it in him to back down or quit.
Biography: John Cena is now a man on a mission, he needs to finish what he started all those years ago. For two years he'd been through surgeries and physical rehabilitation programs to help him get back into shape and heal from his injuries. One would think he'd be seething with anger but it was a positive attitude that kept him going. He just wanted to get back to what he was best at. Standing up for the little guy, keeping the balance in the EWA and chasing that shot for World Heavyweight Championship glory. He knew that it wasn't going to be easy because the entire scene had shifted. He would have to start at the bottom, he would have to work his way up and he would have to once again face some of the best competition available. Well buckle up your seatbelts because his time is now.
