If there was one man that you could point to and try to sum up the absolute pinnacle of manliness, you need not look any further than Robert Roode.
The man who famously brought a knife to a gun fight to even the odds, got his wrestling start right out of high school. The pay was, of course terrible, so he worked on learning to invest in the stock market between shows, quickly gaining a substantial amount of wealth before further investing in numerous real estate properties. Soon after, there was no need to continue wrestling and stepped away to focus on living life to its fullest. Because of this success, Robert Roode is what you would call a wealthy man. So wealthy, in fact, that when he met the Pope, the Pope kissed his ring and asked for Roode's blessing.
So why would a man already so well off want to join the EWA? For no other reason than it sounded like fun. A man's gonna do what a man wants to do, and Roode wants to fight between his afternoon and evening scotch and cigars. It's been a while since he's stepped into a ring, but his presence in the EWA just might be the greatest thing that's ever happened to most of the men in the locker room. In fact, his opponents may even have to fight off the urge to thank him after being punched in the face.
