This is EWA Wrestleline. The only official news and rumors of the E-Wrestling Alliance, reported and verified by EWA insiders. The stories here are broke down into two categories:
News, the first category, which has official confirmation and comment from sources withing the EWA Headquarters in San Diego, CA.
Rumors, the second category, have been told to us by those with inside EWA knowledge, but has not been commented on publicly by the company.
- General Manager Harry Smith will not be at SLAM this Sunday due to some other commitments. Several other backstage agents and producers will be helping out with duties while Smith is away.
- As reported on this week's EWA USA, Chris Jericho underwent surgery this past week and is expected to be out of action for some time. He was chokeslammed off the entrance stage by Mil Muertes on the last episode of SLAM and suffered several injuries to his neck and back.
- A somewhat surprising second generation superstar has inked a contract with the EWA and is expected to debut soon.
- Officials are said to be actively recruiting more female wrestlers to bolster the division some.
- The EWA Network continues to expand with dozens of new shows added to the archive.
- Lindsay Snow impressed several staffers backstage with her dominant performance on this past weekend's episode of EWA USA. The belief is that Snow could develop into a big time player in the women's division if she works hard.
- EWA is planning a tour out of the country in the coming months. No word yet on just where they will travel, but it is believed that at least one SLAM will take place on foreign soil.
- Sales of ECO PRO have improved 5% since advertising on EWA programming.
- Former EWA talent Vladimir Kozlov, last seen at SuperBrawl, is believed to have been eaten by a whale off the coast of Bora Bora. This explains his absence from television.
- According to someone downwind, Pete Gas lived up to his surname at a recent house show.
- A convoy of truckers in Montreal is demanding “the truth” about what happened to Bret Hart in 1997 and the infamous "Montreal Screwjob".
- Tomorrow (March 24th) is former EWA wrestler D'Angelo Dinero's birthday. Happy Birthday Pope!
- The Decree (Thom Latimer, Rickey Shane Page and Drew McIntyre) were kicked out of a local Shoney's in Kalamazoo, Michigan over the weekend for trying to use the "Freebird rule" on an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet.
- Around this time 9 years ago, CM Punk and Kurt Angle were bitter rivals heading into Civil War. This year both men are reportedly watching the event together in South Florida where they allegedly share a condo.

- Booker T has been approached by the Fruit Loops cereal company to replace the iconic "Toucan Sam" as their new mascot, "Bookcan Slam". No word yet on if he'll take them up on their offer.
- According to folklore, wear a sprig of rosemary in your hair to improve your memory.
