After EWA USA went off the air, EWA management was alerted to what can only be called a violent assault that occurred some time during the main event Television Title Match between defending champion Rex Steiner and challenger Alex Shelley.
Shortly after EWA management was alerted and security was dispatched to the scene, newly contracted star "Speedball" Mike Bailey was found outside of the E-Arena in the parking lot in critical condition. Bailey was immediately transported to the nearby to UC San Diego Medical Center. Management were able to review footage from a security camera in the parking lot and we have been granted permission to release the footage in this article. We would like to caution viewers that what you're about to see is graphic.
The scene opens to black and white footage of Mike Bailey walking out of the arena with his luggage. As he walks through the parking lot, the camera footage picks up two figures walking behind Bailey, though their features are hard to make out. Bailey approaches a parked car and retrieves his keys from his pocket, only to suddenly be speared from behind into the car door. Bailey crumples to the pavement before Clark Connors lifts him up. Holding him like a practice dummy, Killer Kelly begins to kick Bailey over and over in the ribs until Connors lifts him off his feet and slams him down into the pavement. Bailey is groaning out in pain and reaching up for the car door to lift himself up to his feet but Kelly kicks him hard in the side of his head. The sound of clapping is heard as two more figures approach the parked car.
THOM LATIMER: Well done. You've both done very well.
Rickey Shane Page smirks as he squats down to get a better look at Mike Bailey. Bailey tries to swat up at RSP, who just tilts his head back to avoid the pitiful swing and smirks.
RICKEY SHANE PAGE: Look, Thom...we've got a fighter!
THOM LATIMER: I do love when they fight.
RSP grabs Bailey by the back of his hair and smashes him head-first into the closed window of the parked car as the other three watch on. Page then leans back to admire his handiwork before pulling a very bloody Bailey out of the broken glass and turning him to face Latimer.
THOM LATIMER: I want you to know something while you're still conscious, mate. We don't hate you. Christ, we don't even know you. I told Bo Dallas something tonight though and I want you to remember it too. This is all Bo's fault.
Latimer takes Bailey from RSP and piledrives him into the concrete. The Chesterfield Plague then shoves Bailey's limp body over to the ground and is helped up by Connors and Kelly. Rickey Shane Page gives Bailey's limp body a poke with the toe of his boot and laughs before the four walk away from the carnage they created.

Mike Bailey is currently in the intensive care unit and there has not been any word on the extent of his injuries. We also have been told that EWA management are currently discussing disciplinary action for The Decree.
We will have more on this story as it develops.
