Biography: Kenny was never really well-spoken, growing up. In fact, he was often slotted as the quiet kid in school. A pushover, if anything. Bullied for such, and not doing much about it, Kenny found refugee at home by his own volition in the form of video games, which he grew a fondness for as time went on. But that can only hold someone’s interest for so long, before they start to strive for more. Something more … physical. Though the bullying continued back at school, Kenny restrained himself from lashing out by biting his tongue. Back home? Video games were losing their luster for him. He took to the TV, to watch his favorite action stars. The Terminator. Bloodsport. Enter the Dragon. But those were all just movies to him. Though, with one flick of the channel? That’s when he stumbled onto something more real. Something that he could bare those teeth into.
Wrestling.
Kenny fell in love all over again. The theatrics. The technicality. The hard hits. Everyone of all different shapes and sizes, going at it in those four corners. It was a spectacle for Kenny, and it was an influence that drove him to try and find out just how he could get into this kind of game. It didn’t come immediately, but the shift in attitude was starting to show. That anger was channeled into his physical education, and soon enough, Kenny started work as a teenager. At school, Kenny was excelling in his class, and was offered a scholarship to Japan to study for geography. He jumped onto this opportunity, and traveled overseas to begin his scholarship. But something else happened. Kenny discovered the culture, and the Japanese way of living, and once again? He fell in love. He felt just at home. Meeting with his translator, Yui Okamoto, he quickly found common interest in wrestling with her. So much so, that Yui introduced him to the difference between Japanese strong style and American wrestling. This was just the thing Kenny needed to see. A style of wrestling that fit his taste, and need for something high-octane.
School was first, for Kenny. In order to stay in Japan, and pursue his dream on the sidelines. While he wasn’t studying? Kenny and Yui were making an effort to find connections. Japanese and gaijin wrestlers alike, who were looking for new talent to train under their wing. Omega soon found himself under tutelage, finding time in his academics to learn how to wrestle in the ring under multiple trainers. Kenny found himself working out more and more, even going to the gym by his apartment, where he met a fellow wrestler by the name of Kota Ibushi. The two got along well, even finding common interest in video games, and the such. As their friendship grew? Kota invited Omega to his first show, in which Kenny solidified himself as a wrestler, officially. From there on? It was a stacking high of adrenaline that Omega never stepped down from. Completing is scholarship, and deciding to make a name for himself in Japan, Kenny has quickly rose to the ranks, and found himself ready to excel by moving onto the biggest brand of them all. The EWA. With the intentions to label himself as one of the best in the world? It only makes sense that Omega finds himself in the ranks of the elites. His intention here, now? To clean up the competition, until he can’t sweep anymore.
