Biography:
Avery Good was once a normal person like you and I, as a kid he was heavily involved in sports. His two favorite sports were Baseball and Wrestling, in high school he was an accomplished athlete in both sports. As a senior, he was being courted by many suitors including top colleges and major league scouts. There was a fork in the road regarding his future, no matter what he chose he was going to succeed.
Drafted to a Major League team as a Pitcher he was brought into the clubhouse of a Double A Minor League squad. Going on a hot streak in multiple games, striking out anyone he faced. Until one fateful day, Good took the mound, his eyes locked in with a batter wielding the weapon that resulted in him being struck just above the right ear by a line drive. Good had to undergo emergency surgery to relieve pressure from bleeding around his brain and was placed in a medically induced coma.
Once he awoke, Avery Good was not the man he used to be. Confusing medical professionals and family around him not responding to his name Avery Good, repeatedly telling him his name is Dasher Hatfield. When returning to normal life, he went back to baseball but was kicked out of games and the clubhouse for fighting. A local promoter contacted him after seeing Hatfield spine busting a pitcher on the mound. The promoter was able to persuade Hatfield to begin training to be a professional wrestler.
When he started, local fans recognized him as the Professional Baseball player, Avery Good and not Dasher Hatfield, Professional Wrestler. Noticing he wasn’t getting over, the promoter designed a special mask for Dasher that he still wears today. After years in the independents, Dasher Hatfield has finally caught the eye of the EWA. The Ol’ Timey King of Swing has signed on the dotted line, and is ready to take the EWA by storm.
