Biography: Cardona was born in Long Island New York and had a pretty regular and happy childhood. Two parents who loved each other and provided for their family. Cardona spent his Saturday mornings and afternoons watching pro wrestling and playing with his action figures like most kids did growing up in the late 80s and early 90s. He loved his Macho Man Randy Savage wrestling buddy! From a young age Matt knew he was destined to be a professional wrestler. In high school Cardona became seriously ill and had to literally fight for his life. Knowing this wasn’t his destiny and that there was so much more waiting for him in the world of professional wrestling, Matt fought hard and eventually overcame his illness. At that point Cardona started training at the age of 16 and finally made his pro wrestling debut at the age of 18, wrestling for local promotions at small bingo halls and city fairs with crowds no more than 50. Trying to get noticed was a lot harder than he had thought but finally Matt would catch his big break at the age of 20 when he was offered a try out with a highly recognizable North American Promotion after releasing internet promos and claiming to be the ‘Internet Champion’. Cardona was offered a contract which he accepted. Now in the big leagues and under the spot light the pressure was really on. Things started off great and Matt was just happy to be living a childhood dream but eventually the backstage politics, the corporate garbage, the egos, the greed, the backstabbing, the lack of creative all took its toll on him and he soon found himself lost in the shuffle. Just showing up to get a pay cheque. His passion and his love for professional wrestling was dwindling. At this time the landscape of professional wrestling was changing outside of the company he worked for and the fanbase was reaching new heights. New companies were emerging but Cardona had to ride out his contract. Knowing he has not reached the goals and accolades he has set out to reach in his career, Cardona craved more. Finally he was released from his contract and ventured off into the independent circuit where he found great success and quickly established himself as the ‘New King of the Death Match’. The long Island native now finds himself in EWA where he vows to add as much gold as he can to his collection, along side his epic toy collection. Cardona comes to the EWA with his wife Chelsea Green who acts as his manager and valet but is also an active wrestler in the female division.

Biography: Born and raised in Victoria, British Columbia Chelsea Green started training at the age of 21 and made her pro wrestling debut at the age of 23 in 2014. Wrestling in various promotions throughout North America for the first part of her career she finally met her husband Matt Cardona in 2017 while receiving a tryout offer with a major promotion. Chelsea was eventually released from her contract around the same time as her husband and now the two are ready to dominate and take over the EWA.
