With an action-packed edition of SLAM! just 24 hours away, we here at EWA.com have received word that the show has gotten even bigger.
According to EWA insider Todd Grisham, a source has told him there are plans for a "big surprise" this week on SLAM! involving EWA World Heavyweight Champion Jamie Noble. When asked for more information, the same source said, "he'll never see it coming." It's unknown who is behind this supposed surprise or what the surprise itself is. But being champion certainly puts a target on your back and there are an infinite number of superstars -- both past and present -- who could be taking aim.
With a card featuring Queen of the Ring first round action and former champions like "Hangman" Adam Page, The Honky Tonk Man, Jerry "The King" Lawler, and the New Freebirds all set to compete as well, this could be an early contender for the best SLAM! of 2021.
