Pierce's Tag Team partner revealed?

Word is that after his elimination from the Super Brawl Free-for-All main event, Brady Pierce was seen wandering the backstage area of the United Center in search of his new-found tag team partner, Tom Lawlor. Upon finding him though, the dejected MMA veteran was heard telling Brady that he felt unworthy of teaming with Pierce when he cashes in his shot at the Tag Team Titles on this week's SLAM!, an opportunity earned during the course of the match when Pierce eliminated Frank Shamrock. Despite "The Survivor's" best efforts to convince him otherwise, Lawlor couldn't be swayed from his decision, seemingly leaving Pierce without a partner to face the new champions of The Honky Tonk Man and Santino Marella.
In an interesting turn of events however, Brady Pierce would later be spotted by several eye witnesses deep in conversation with Scott Hall. What he and "The Bad Guy" talked about currently remains unknown, but Hall was seen introducing Pierce to his son Cody shortly thereafter, before the trio then left the arena together.
Could Pierce have found a replacement for Tom Lawlor in second generation superstar Cody Hall? And if so, is this a permanent switch of partners or just a temporary alliance for convenience sake? No doubt we'll get some answers on the first SLAM! of 2020, live this Sunday only on EFN!
