This is EWA Wrestleline. The only official news and rumors of the E-Wrestling Alliance, reported and verified by EWA insiders. The stories here are broke down into two categories. News, which has gotten official confirmation and comment from the EWA Headquarters in San Diego, CA and Rumors, which have been told to us by those with inside EWA knowledge, but has not been commented on publicly by the company.
- There was a creative dust-up backstage recently with lower tier talent over some finishes to matches. It's believed that the issue has been rectified and EWA management is said to be pleased with the result.
- Summer Stampede will take place this Sunday with at least a couple of surprises planned.
- Prince Nana was indefinitely suspended two weeks ago after his assault on Bradley. Although he appeared on this past week's SLAM program, he was escorted off the premises by police officers.
- Batista was seen backstage at a recent event. No word yet on if he's tried to recruit any EWA talent for a business venture, as he has often done in the past.
- The Dasani Monster Truck will be at this weekend's Summer Stampede show and be a part of the festivities in Suplizio Field in Grand Junction, Colorado. Dasani is sponsoring the event and the Dasani Monster Truck will be crushing cars for the crowd before the show starts. Be sure to be on the lookout for it!
- EWA is said to be pleased with several new and returning talents. The roster is said to be packed with talented individuals and after a couple high profile returns (and apparently a couple more planned) it seems as though things are running better than ever.
- Brock Lesnar is rumored to be upset to have been left off the Summer Stampede main card, especially when the man he has defeated in a series of matches, Brian Kendrick, managed to get a contest on the show.
- Toni Storm is expected to appear on the SLAM after Summer Stampede. Right now she is on a promotional tour for the company. This is said to have upset some other female wrestlers, particularly Kelly Klein.
- There are plans for more upcoming US tour dates to be announced after the pay-per-view with one date apparently tying into an upcoming match type. More on that as it develops.
- King of the Ring plans are taking shape, with the belief that the tournament may begin a bit earlier than expected. However nothing is 100% concrete just yet and plans can change.
- Scientists have worked with EWA for years and apparently using DNA and other matter, have been able to clone former EWA superstar, Clementine. It's said that there are now thousands of Clementine groves throughout Florida.
- BeeGees singer Barry Gibb is apparently a huge fan of MJF and sent the EWA superstar a box of memorabilia.
- Former EWA superstar Richie Steamboat is now truly living up to his name, as he was recently given permission to captain Mystic, Connecticut's world famous steamboat, Sabino. As one of the oldest steamboat's still in operation, Sabino is now in good hands with it's "Bloody good" new captain.
- Paranormal investigators have been dispatched to the infamous E-Arena as a result of several wrestlers believing that the venue is haunted by the ghost of King Kong Bundy.
- Todd Grisham recently had surgery to remove his third nipple. It is believed to have been a successful operation.
- Booker T has been approached by Sprint Mobile to use his likeness for a new service tentatively called, "Booker T&T". No word yet on if he’ll take them up on the offer.
- Newt recommends Preparation H cream and a sense of humor if you're feeling butthurt after reading any of this.
