This is EWA Wrestleline. The only official news and rumors of the E-Wrestling Alliance, reported and verified by EWA insiders. The stories here are broke down into two categories. News, which has gotten official confirmation and comment from the EWA Headquarters in San Diego, CA and Rumors, which have been told to us by those with inside EWA knowledge, but has not been commented on publicly by the company.
- Jake Roberts was pretty banged up physically and emotionally after this past week's National Title loss to Buh Buh Dudley. Early word is that he was considering hanging up his hat, but apparently was talked into sticking around after several backstage workers were very interested in him and want to invest more time in the veteran.
- Although the Rock-n-Roll Express had been working with a secret team training them for a EWA World Tag Team title match, they changed their recommendation to the EWA higher ups after seeing some of the stiff competition in the tag ranks in recent weeks. Apparently they thought it would make more sense if several of the top EWA teams battled it out for a shot at the gold first. Everyone seemed to be in agreement, though we can confirm that the Rock-n-Roll are said to be still training this secret team with the hopes that at some point they may end up in the blossoming division.
- Brock Lesnar was quite upset after being removed from his scheduled match with Matt Taven this past Sunday. EWA officials can confirm plans to reschedule that bout, once it's certain that Lesnar has been medically cleared and shows no concussion symptoms. Bill Goldberg was said to be pretty banged up after his bout with Taven as well.
- After much discussion, we can officially confirm that the E-Wrestling Alliance will be heading to the "land of the rising sun" for a tour in July. Three big television events are planned with Osaka-jō Hall in Osaka, Japan on July 14th, Nippon Budokan in Chiyoda, Japan on July 21st and a Japanese Supershow (more details on this event coming soon) at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan on July 28th.
- The Briscoes are said to have really impressed officials in recent weeks. Mark and Jay have underwent some drastic changes since breaking away from previous managers and it's said to really have motivated the team and brought new life into the duo.
- This Friday as an exclusive for EWrestlingAlliance.com, General Manager and CEO of EWA Harry Smith will take part in an AMA "Ask Me Anything", where wrestlers, fans, journalists and more can get details from the man behind the curtain. More details on this to be announced very soon, but people should begin preparing their questions now as this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to get some answers from EWA's top man.

The latest edition of the EWA video game series, 'EWA 2K20', released this week. Whilst the gameplay was praised among the gaming press, critics were less enamoured with the graphics, with one publication stating "Jack Swagger looked like he was melting." Meanwhile, fans were disappointed with an out-of-date roster, including a pre-lightning strike Big Show, a pre-Horde Gabriel, and the bWo. The story mode was also in line for criticism, with many fans lamenting the writing of a real-time 12-month feud with Joe Gomez, and a feature that sees you forced to create and retire a new character every 3 weeks. The upcoming DLC pack of Prince Puma, The Great Khali, Bill Ding, Judy Bagwell and Pete Dunne was also described as a 'mixed-bag'.
- Former EWA stars Scott Steiner, Luke Harper and Meng collectively known as the "Shoney's Squad" have been courted by rival restaurant chain, Denny's. Apparently Denny's offered them a "Grand Slam" of a deal that is said to have left them in a "Moons Over My Hammy" state of mind.
- EWA archivists may have discovered some lost episodes of programming that hasn't been seen since it originally aired.
- Al Snow, who has had recent legal troubles and may or may not be on the run from law enforcement was reportedly arrested at an airport in Nevada. However he was later released when officers realized they had arrested former pro wrestler Matt Bloom, by mistake. Bloom is known for his time in the business under the gimmicks, A-Train and Baldo McBloom.
- Former Wu-Tang Clan member Method Man is said to be a big fan of the EWA and his recent tweet which stated: "Man, i'm high and just got slammed" is rumored to be a reference to how excited he was for this past week's Supersized edition of Sunday Night SLAM!
- Booker T has been approached by the nation's second largest honey producer to license his likeness for a new line of honeycomb products named “Booker Bees”. No word yet on if he’ll take them up on the offer.
- Newt would like in-character questions only for the Harry Smith AMA.
