Multiple sources from backstage in the EWA are telling me that the current status of Walter Hahn is not good. The sources say that Walter sustained some very serious injuries towards the end of his match with Brady Pierce from the May 12th, 2019 edition of Sunday Night Slam, injuries which could keep him out for “a considerable amount of time.”
Next Monday, Walter is due to undergo a three-hour operation to reconnect a detached quadricep on his left leg brought on by a dislocated patella, reportedly suffered after delivering an “Off With His Head” to Pierce. Moments after hitting the move, Walter would go on to set the pace in the “Beat the Clock Challenge” laid out by Marty Scurll the week previous, however, his time was soon bested by both Brock Lesnar and eventual winner Fit Finlay.
Currently, there is no exact time-scale for Walter’s return to in-ring action. However, sources close to the Austrian tell me that he hopes to be back within six months, preferably in time for 2019’s King of the Ring tournament.
